Mamelodi Sundowns are well on course for a domestic clean sweep but will now come face-to-face against top-flight newbies Royal AM in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.

Masandawana have already snatched the MTN8 title late last year and are inevitably expected to win their sixth consecutive DStv Premiership crown in May, while also having their name in the hat for a second star in the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Brazilians glowingly put five-goals past quarter-final opponents Summerfield Dynamos – the first team from the ABC Motsepe League to reach the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals since 2011 – to set up a mouth-watering clash against Royal AM later in April.

The KwaZulu-Natal outfit, owned by reality star Shauwn Mkhize, had to work hard in their quest to advance in the competition with a 3-2 win over the University of Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) pulled off a great upset when they came from two goals down to beat SuperSport United 3-2 after extra-time to set up a clash against Marumo Gallants.

Semi-final dates and venues will be announced in due course.
